Tete H. Tetens Jr.
October 9, 1934 — June 14, 2019
Tete H. Tetens, age 84 of Clifton, (formerly of Hackensack) passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 14th, 2019.
Devoted father to Erika Tetens-Carnaby and her husband Neil, Deirdre Gilmore and her husband John, Maria Tetens, and T.H. Tetens and his wife Shari. Cherished grandfather to Christopher, Courtney, Sean and Caitlin Gilmore, Paige and Ashley Tetens and Norman Carnaby. Surviving are his two sisters Karin Tetens Stevenson and Regina Tetens. Beloved Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
As a professor at Montclair State University he loved teaching his students. He enjoyed being a wizard at Sterling Forrest, sailing, reading and spending time with his family and friends.
In respect to Tete's wishes, he will be privately cremated.
