Steven Smith Wolk, 58, of Morris Plains, NJ, passed away on Sunday, January 28. He survived his beloved wife Jeryl (Carp) and leaves behind many people who adored him, including his siblings David, Peter and Debbi. Beloved son of the late Richard and Carolyn Wolk, he grew up in West Orange, and shared his life with many, including in-laws Julie, Keith and Beth. He was the fun uncle to Michael, Melanie, Carrie, Hailey, Jordan, Sydney, Danielle, Alex, Jezzamine, Keilah, Landon, and Izzy. Steve fondly shared his home and life with four legged friends, Hunter, Shadow, Sunshine and Sky. After dissembling our family dryer when he was 9, he reassembled it to work better and from then on was destined to be a handyman. He served as Mr. Fix-It for many families, bringing a strong work ethic and a good sense of humor wherever he went. Steve graduated West Orange High School, attended Rider College, was an avid camper, great camp counselor, loving brother and more fun than anyone else could ever have been despite the many health challenges he faced. We miss him already. Please join us for a Remembrance of Steve on Thursday, February 1, at 11 AM 46 Battle Ridge Rd., Morris Plains, NJ. Following the Remembrance, the family will continue to celebrate Steve's life at 22 Lake Shore Drive, Rockaway, NJ from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM on Thursday, and on Friday from 2 PM to 4:30 PM. Steve would want everybody to enjoy the Super Bowl, 'go Giants!' and 'keep smiling'!
