Robert Howard Ramoth of Pompton Plains, NJ passed away peacefully on January 30, 2019.
Robert was born in Wallington, NJ to Max and Florence Ramoth on February 24, 1927. He grew up in Carlstadt and lived many years in Wayne. He married his first wife, Doris P. Twitty, on September 11, 1948; she preceded him in death in 1957. He married Diana G. Niebuhr on June 5,1964 in Newark; she preceded him in death in 2016.
Robert is also preceded in death by his brothers Fred, George and Richard Ramoth.
He worked as a Methods Analyst for Prudential for more than 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy as a Quartermaster. Robert was an avid bowler, a long-time member of his choir at Grace Bible Church in North Haledon, had a green thumb in the garden, was a world traveler with his wife Diana, and a leader of BSA Troop 127.
Robert is survived by: his daughter Linda DeLeo and her husband Robert Trembler, and grandson Randy DeLeo; his son Scott Ramoth and granddaughter Lily; his second son Eric Ramoth, wife Beth, granddaughters Morgan and Kari, and grandson Jason; his youngest son Brian Ramoth, wife Heidi, grandson Ethan and granddaughter Eila.
