With a heavy heart, we said good bye to Pete Tamuzza. He lived a long life of 95 years. He was born in Lodi, NJ but he lived most of his life in Midland Park, NJ. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He retired from Becton Dickinson of 40 years and Macy’s of 30 years. After working many long years, he then went on to be a crossing guard for Ridgewood Township during his retirement for 15 years. He was loved by many in his crossing officer position.
He was an amazing father to Mare, Peter (Patti), Barbara (Sam) and Paul (Tracey). He brought laughter to his grandkids, Sammi, Darian, Lindsay, Joshua, Trevor, Zachary and Marissa. Even to his two great grandkids, Dylan and Abigail. He is predeceased by his wife, Angela.
Pete had a passion for cooking. We’re going to miss his Sunday dinners and his elaborated stories. He loved fishing and following college and NFL football games. He was always a jokester and brought laughter to many. Rest in peace. We love you always and will miss you.
