Millie was born December 18, 1929 to William and Amelia (Juhr) Diemer. She passed away April 5, 2024. She was the middle child of 10 children born to the Diemer’s who lived in Secaucus, New Jersey in a big house on First Street. Millie’s mother passed away when she was only 14 causing her to quit school to take care of her younger siblings. Her family would spend their summers in Greenwood Lake at a summer cottage. Millie eventually married Louis Eimer on April 27, 1957, also from Secaucus. They had one child, LuAnn. In 2011, Louis passed away and Millie continued to live in her beloved home on Fifth Street in Secaucus of 53 years. She eventually needed extended care and lived at The Oaks in Denville, NJ where she was loved by the nurses and caretakers there. They were truly wonderful to Millie and treated her with respect and the utmost care while she treated them to her humorous tales and straight talk.
Millie leaves behind her loving daughter, LuAnn and her husband David Quirk, her 2 cherished grandsons David and his wife Andrea, and Patrick and his wife Nicole, and her adored great granddaughter, Emilia.
She was predeceased by her father and mother and 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

At Millie’s request her service was private. Millie was generous, hardworking, thoughtful, and caring. May Millie find peace and be joined again with her Mother in heaven.
