Margaret Mary Swart

Margaret Mary Swart (Garland) of West Milford, NJ was born on March 14, 1943 in Rahway, NJ. She passed away August 30, 2017 of pulmonary failure as a result of COPD in Pompton Plains, NJ. Margaret was retired from a career as an HVAC estimator and salesperson. Peggy, as she was known to her friends and family, leaves her loved ones behind to fondly carry on her memory She is survived by husband of 51 years, Frank J. Swart, and her three loving children; Her daughter Arleen Swart and partner Kim of Keyport, NJ, Her son Frank J. Swart, Jr. and daughter in-law Linda of Huntersville, NC, and daughter Annmarie Polglaze and son in-law Charles of West Milford, NJ. Her best adventure and dream come true was to be known as Grammy to her 5 wonderful grandchildren. Ava, Julianna, and Caroline of Huntersville, NC and Emma and Charlie of West Milford, NJ. Peggy is also survived by her brother Francis Garland of Brooklyn, NY with his wife Maureen. Her sister Madeline and her husband Ray of Florida. Along with her in laws, John, Jeannie, Deanna, Stephen, Jeffrey, Elizabeth. Her many nieces and nephews, Joseph, Rebecca, Meghan, Patrick, Brian, Kate, William and Thomas, and their families. Services will be private with a celebration of life to be planned for September.
