Linda L. Hamma

Linda Louise Hamma (née: Wagner), passed away on October 27, 2021 in Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Linda was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey in January of 1949 and moved with her family to New Providence, New Jersey in 1954, graduating from New Providence High School in 1967. In 1970 Linda met the love of her life, Charles Hamma, they married in January of 1971. Together Linda and Charles had two children, Melissa Berezanski and Matthew Hamma. In 1982 Linda and Charles moved to Stirling, New Jersey where they remained until her passing.

Being primarily a homemaker Linda was a devoted wife and loving mother who would do anything for her family. Linda loved gardening and shopping with her daughter, spending time and spoiling her four grandchildren, and the beach. Linda was also an avid animal lover, having many pets over her lifetime, as well as her fur grandbabies, Luna, Lucky and Stitch which she found joy in watching their antics. While Linda had two children, she was beloved by those that knew her, many of whom would consider her their surrogate mother.

Linda was predeceased by her sister and best friend, Barbara Nugent who passed away in June of 2021 and her parents, Mathew Wagner and Elizabeth Ruth (née: Rau) Wagner both of whom passed away in 1986. She is survived by her loving husband Charles, her two children Melissa Berezanski and Matthew Hamma as well as her four grandchildren, Samantha, Tiffany, Dean and Vanessa Berezanski, as well many nieces and nephews. Linda leaves behind many loved ones, all of whom will greatly miss her.
