Kathleen Marie Windt, standing 5’2” tall with magenta hair, purple eyes (sometimes), a diamond stud in her nose and an Egyptian cat on her leg, was a stubborn, hilarious Italian Irish Catholic with a big heart who, at the age of 74, left us on Sunday, October 23, 2022.
A lifetime resident of Northern New Jersey, Kat was a beloved mother to Tamara Huppert, Jessica Lee Salas and several cats, grandmother to Jia Lee and Belfry, spouse to Gregory Rajczewski, sister, aunt, and friend.
On the ballroom floor as a dance instructor and competitor, in the offices of Movado keeping the execs in check, behind the counter at the Jewelry Exchange selling a diamond or on the parkway flipping off the guy cutting her off, Kathie Windt left her mark.
Services are not being held at this time. Her wish was to have her daughters spread her ashes over the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ( http://giftfunds.stjude.org/kathleenwindt ).
