Smith, James Joseph, 44, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Phillipsburg, NJ surrounded by his family. Born on May 24, 1974 to Donna M. (Higgins) Rocco in Manhattan, NY, he was raised in Andover, NJ. He was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed relaxing along the Delaware River, telling stories of his many adventures in life. He was a genuine good hearted man who loved his family, his dog Tootsie, ice hockey and his Irish heritage.
He is survived by his parents Donna & Tom Rocco, sister Christine (Rocco) Morrison, wife Sarah R. (Trigas) Smith, sons James L. Smith, Devin J. Trigas, daughters Ashlynn R. Smith and Kathleen D. Smith, uncle Michael Higgins and extended family.
There will be a tree dedication ceremony in the future, date to be announced. In Lieu of flowers please donate to the Salvation Army in memory of James.
