Emma, George, 90, formerly of Ramsey NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018. George was the beloved husband of the late Therese (DeKovessey) Emma, and loving father to Christopher Emma & his wife Theresa of Pequannock. Grandfather to Sofia & Jac Emma. Brother to Millie Bond of Manahawkin and the late Grace Tucci and Tom Emma.
George was born in New York City and was raised in Whitestone (Queens), NY. He was a longtime Ramsey, NJ resident. He was a graduate of Queens College, and worked in public relations and advertising. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean conflict era, and was a longtime member of the Ramsey Historical Society.
Interment will be at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island at a later time.
