Billie Kay Romanko

Billie Kay Romanko, of Clifton, New Jersey, entered eternal life on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on January 31, 1951, in La Grande, Oregon, to William and Katherine F. (Burrows) Schwebke.

During her professional career, Billie worked in medical billing at Bergen Regional Medical Center (now Bergen New Bridge Medical Center) in Paramus, New Jersey.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John, and their two children: Brian, who is married to Joyce, and Karen, who is married to Joseph. Billie was a proud grandmother to Brian and Joyce’s two sons, Roman and Remy.

She is also survived by her three siblings: her sister, Jean Walton; her brother Vern and his wife, Lori; and her youngest brother, Dwight, and his wife, Alicia.

Billie leaves behind several nieces and nephews: Joseph, son of Jean; Christina, daughter of Vern and Lori; and Cody and Daniel, sons of Dwight.

She will be deeply missed by many other family members and friends whose lives she touched.

In lieu of a funeral, a memorial service will be held in her honor over the summer.
