Charles Ruppel of Wayne, NJ, surrounded by his loving family, entered eternal life on May 14th, 2023, he was 79. Charles was born in Paterson, NJ on October 2nd, 1943 to Charles B. and Ruth Mary (O’Neill) Ruppel. He was raised in Paterson, although the family did spend five years in Florida. It was there that Charles had the opportunity to serve as a Bat-Boy for the New York Yankees, during the 1957 spring training season, and where he got to meet some of the great NY baseball legends. After returning to Paterson, NJ, he graduated high school and began working in the textile printing industry. After working as a silk-screener at Newtronics in Paterson for over thirty years, he retired in 1998. Charles is survived by his beloved wife Vilma of nearly forty-seven years. He is survived by his beloved children Michael and Mel Ruppel, Mitchel Ruppel, Lisa Messenger Ruppel and Heather K. Sessa. Charles is survived by his cherished grandchildren Mya, Valentina and Katelyn; and his dear sister Patricia Ruppel of Largo, FL., and brother Richard and his wife Jeane Marie Ruppel of Clearwater, FL.
